System:
The system configuration is all pneumatic with
air-logic for semi-automatic cycle of the die ram.
Inexpensive hook-up as no electricity is required.

of Force Available
Safety:
There are multiple safety
features and no open areas for fingers or other body
parts. The redundant safety devices and lack on "pinch"
areas will satisfy most safety issues.
Operation:
Operator loads the specimen
to be die cut and the die. The operator closes the
shuttle table, the table locks, and the ram cycles. Die
cutting is complete in seconds.
Micrometer Die Height adjustment is available as an
option.
Replaceable Nylon Cutting Pad
included.

Operated Toggle Presses are ideal for
singulation of small PCB's and all types of
small die cutting.The press develops about
one ton of force and can handle dies with
approximately five inches of trim.

S2000
Series Presses: This versatile press design
is a down-acting four-post platen press
with rigid journaled bushings for extreme
cutting accuracy. Standard tonnage is
twelve tons to 22 tons in an all-pneumatic,
simple to maintain air-logic configuration.
These pneumatic systems are very popular in
third-world installations where technical
staff may not be readily available for
programming and maintaining more
complicated PLC controlled systems.
Hydraulic power up to 45 tons is available,
as are PLC controlled systems.
Activating palm buttons will trigger the
operation, shuttling the lower die plate on
THK linear guide rails into the press.

Robotic Depaneling Cell
Options:
The S2000 Platform design lends itself
easily to in-line integration. The top of the press can be
easily removed to have robotic access to the lower shuttle
table for pick & place of arrays and singulated PCB’s. The
S2000 press can be seen in the rear of the cell behind the
robot n the lower left picture. The lower right picture
shows the singulated PCB’s being removed by the robot.
